Astor Hotel Tianjin

Tianjin Astor Hotel was regarded as a major national historical relic preservation project.
It is a luxury one with British classic architectural style.
Since its grand opening in 1863, this grand dame of Chinese Hotels has played host to Dr Sun Yat Sen, President Herbert Hoover.
It is in a good location on the river for a walk around the various areas, and even in walking distance of the shopping areas around Binjiang dao.
The hotel has undergone more than a hundred years of changes and has been marked with the footprints of historic development in Tianjin.
The facilities and decorations of this old Hotel show us the traces of the changes and leave us reminiscence of the past.
It has been listed in the National Important Historical Relics Protection Units.

What will provoke our interest is the Presidential suite where Dr. Sun Yet Sen once sojourned. Its difference from any other presidential suites lies in the combination of tradition and moderness.
